Step 1

You get in touch. We listen β€” properly.

Tell us about your flat: how many rooms, what the building is like, what you've tried before, what you're hoping for. There are no silly questions and no pressure to commit to anything.

From that first conversation, we'll give you an honest view of what's feasible in your flat, roughly what to expect in terms of cost, and whether we think we can help. If we can't, we'll say so.

Most people are surprised by how straightforward it turns out to be. The assumptions that held them back β€” about their building type, their management company, their lease β€” often don't apply.

Step 2

We visit, assess, and design around your flat.

A survey visit takes around an hour. We look at the layout, the wall construction, where an outdoor condenser can go, and how pipework can be routed as discreetly as possible through your flat.

We ask about your lifestyle β€” whether you run warm or cold, whether you work from home, whether you want every room cooled or just the main living spaces and bedroom. The system we design is shaped around how you actually live.

After the survey, you receive a detailed fixed quote. No estimates. No "subject to survey" small print. The number we give you is the number you pay.

Step 3 (if needed)

Permissions and approvals β€” we help you navigate them.

If you're in a leasehold flat, you may need written consent from your management company or freeholder before work begins. This is common β€” and it's entirely manageable.

We provide a full technical specification document that explains exactly what the works involve: the equipment, the installation method, the external placement, and any making-good required. It's written specifically to satisfy management companies and freeholders.

We've guided hundreds of customers through this process. Most approvals come through within a couple of weeks. We chase, follow up, and support you throughout β€” this isn't something you have to handle alone.

Step 4

Installation day. Your flat comes back exactly as we found it.

Our engineers arrive in the morning and work methodically through the installation. Floors are protected throughout. Every opening is sealed properly. Pipework is trunked and finished cleanly.

In the vast majority of apartments, everything is complete the same day. You're not living with an unfinished job for a week β€” we commit to leaving your flat finished and functional before we go.

When we leave, we tidy completely. Packaging, off-cuts, dust β€” all removed. You shouldn't be doing any cleaning up after us.

Step 5

Handover, walkthrough, and we stay in touch.

Before we leave, we walk you through the system completely. How to set the temperature, how to programme schedules, how to use the app if your unit supports it. We answer every question β€” there are no dumb ones.

You receive documentation for the installation β€” warranty information, equipment specs, our contact details. Not a generic leaflet. Specific to your system, your flat.

And then we stay reachable. If anything needs adjusting, if you have a question six months later, if you want to add another room β€” you can contact us. We're not a company that disappears once the job is done.

"The installation was done in a day. They protected every surface, hid all the pipework inside trunking, and cleaned up completely before they left. I genuinely couldn't tell they'd been β€” except for the unit on the wall and the fact that my bedroom was finally cool."

Common questions

Things people ask before they get in touch.

How long does the installation take?
Most apartments are complete in a single day. We'll confirm the expected duration during your survey visit β€” if your flat has any complexity that might extend this, we tell you in advance.
Do I need to be home during the installation?
Yes β€” or someone you trust needs to be there. We're working throughout your flat and want to make sure you're comfortable with everything as it progresses.
What if my management company says no?
It's rare, but it happens. If consent is refused, you don't pay for the installation β€” we only proceed when all approvals are in place. We'll support you throughout.
Will there be dust or mess?
Floor protection goes down before anything starts. We vacuum as we go. When we leave, the only change should be the unit on the wall.
How soon can you come out?
Survey visits are usually available within a week. Installations typically book within 2–3 weeks of quote approval. Contact us for your specific timeline.
What warranty do I get?
Manufacturer warranties typically cover 5–7 years on parts. We also provide a workmanship guarantee β€” if anything related to our installation goes wrong, we come back and fix it.
